Satisfaction from Knowing Ourselves and Better Relationships

I’m starting an email newsletter focused on our personality and our relationships. It starts with twelve email course covering all aspect of our health (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social) delivered in six weeks and then continues with one newsletter a week about personality and relationships.
The focus of the newsletter will be tighter than this blog which covers all aspects of health. The newsletters will also be a bit more in depth. The feel I’m aiming for is a bit tighter and deeper all round.
To learn more about the six week course on health you can go to the newsletter page.
At the moment the sending of the newsletter will be handled by a humanresponder (ie. me) rather than an autoresponder (which I don’t have the money for at the moment). I’ll do my best, barring sickness and accidents (to me or the blog), to ensure a response within 24hrs. It also means I don’t have one of those convenient boxes to fill in - so please leave the name you want to be addressed by and the email address you would like the newsletter sent to in the comments to this post. I hope it won’t be long until I get an autoresponder.
Is this a marketing ploy to sell you stuff? No. I probably will write occasionally about things that I think are worth buying - if I find something. I will be writing about a course I plan to launch later this year whose topic will be living authentically. (My plan is to make this course a subscription course that will go for eight weeks.) However, my plan is for the ’selling emails’ to be rare and additional to the normal newsletter mailings - so you can ignore them (though I hope you won’t) and you won’t be missing anything.
I’m very excited about this. I’m looking forward to writing with a greater focus. I’m also a little nervous about how it will be received. So I’ll be waiting with ‘bated breath for the comments that I get.
Looking forward to communicating with you via this new channel of a newsletter as well. Evan.

Hi Evan,
Did I really have to give you ‘permission’ to put me on the list? I know you said the thing about no autoresponder, but what about already existing auto commentators? Automatically adding me would have been fine…
So, let’s make it official.
I would be more than pleased to be on the newsletter list!

Evan,
I recently (Today, in fact.)stumbled on your site, and have thoroughly enjoyed what I have read so far. I plan spend more time and read more and would be interested in participating in your course.
I am 54 years old, live in the USA and recently retired from my life long career in medical laboratory science. I am unable to retire from learning, however, and am facinated by health, well being, medical and spiritual topics. I want to thank you for your writing and to encourage you to continue.
Respectfully, Diane

Getting feedback like yours is always delightful.
I do plan to keep writing. If there is something you’d like me to write on feel free to make a suggestion, and if I think I have anything worthwhile to say I’ll give it a go.
Were you studying any particular thing in your lab or more general?
I’ll put you on the list for the course - you should get the first email today. If you haven’t got it in the next few hours let me know. Hoping you find it helpful. Evan

I’ll send the first email today. The health course is 2 emails per week, the newsletter will be one email a week.

This way of getting people to subscribe is due to my technical incompetence. I do like it though - it has a more personal feel for me. Hope you and others like it too and don’t just find it a hassle.
