Time for another trip around the blogosphere’s health sites.
First up is one for those of us who are getting older. Exercise and Fitness Sports for Seniors is a good introduction to health and fitness for older people. There is a range of topics covered, though there is a not a great deal of depth to the coverage.
There is the normal advice on diet and exercise from a western perspective and also pages on tai chi and yoga. There are also pages on vitamins and herbal supplements so there are some alternatives covered. You can also buy an extraordinary range of clothing and fitness equipment.
Christine Strong is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and her site, doctors-fertility-help.com, addresses infertility from this perspective. This approach emphasises the role of diet in health in general and also in fertility. She does not limit herself to this however and also provides information on the drugs and reproductive technologies available.
If you are looking to get pregnant and want a site with an emphasis on the alternative but open to the standare western approach as well, this would be a good site to check out.
Finally a very specialised site. This site is called Laser Eye Surgery Review. It is written by a retired optometrist and has an extraordinary amount of information. I wouldn’t have believed that there was this much information that could be available on laser eye surgery. If you are contemplating laser eye surgery or are thinking of having it I think this is probably the site you need.
