I’ve realised that I haven’t drawn attention to one of the blogs I regularly read: Change Therapy.

Change Therapy is a blog by Canadian resident (European born I think), Isabella Mori. As well as the blog posts Isabella also has lots of other resources.

She has a page about psychotherapy, as well as pages on eating disorders, chronic pain, depression and spirituality. Isabella also runs Blog Carnivals - one on Buddhism and one on eating disorders. (A blog carnival is a collection of posts from different bloggers on a particular topic. They are often done monthly, but this is really up to the person running the carnival.)

Isabella is a therapist with her own practice. Thankfully she comes across as very human and doesn’t hide behind the role of ‘The Therapist’.   And, thankfully, she writes well. Frequently personal, often exploratory and with an eye to practicalities, Isabella’s posts always have something to say. As you would imagine from the list of topics with their own pages, Isabella writes about lots of different topics - sometimes just about things that are personally important to her (like being Canadian).

I think Isabella’s is a really good therapy blog. Especially if you are interested in depression, eating disorders, or chronic pain there is a heap of resources. If you just want a human blog by a therapist then this is also a blog you will enjoy.  You will find a link to her blog in my blogroll.
