John at Storied Mind has done me the honour of nominating me for an Arte-y-Pico Award.

The ‘Arte Y Pico Award’ is given to five blogs at a time based on their creativity, design, interest of content, and contribution to the blogging community, regardless of language. Part of the honor of receiving it is passing along the award to other blogs that honestly seek out the truth of their authors’ experience.

As I haven’t talked much about the blogs I especially like lately, I thought this would be an opportunity to tell you about them. Apart from John at Storied Mind here are five more blogs that I think are have great content and contribute to the blogosphere (their design and creativity is good too but I think content and contribution are what is most important).

Albert at The Urban Monk. Has consistently great content and is always engaging in his comments.

Tim at The Discomfort Zone. For his sane approach to personal change and the light touch he has in his writing.

Tom Stine for his on-going examination of consciousness and his experience. Tom keeps examining, reflecting and questioning – and then turning it into good content. He also is genuinely willing to examine disagreements. (If you read the comments on some of his posts you will find that we have had a few. He has been unfailing courteous and willing to genuinely enquire into our disagreement – a great recommendation I think.)

Tom Volkar is doing something important. Helping people make money from working in a way they love. His blog gives lots of information about this. He is a man after my own heart because he cares about authenticity. If making money by doing what you love is something attractive to you, Tom’s blog Delightful Work is worth checking out.

Finally, a blog that is quite different. Global Investment Watch is a blog about corporate social responsibility. It has updates on the doings of various companies and their impact on people and our planet. The information is good and always readable. If you care about social justice and ecology this is one well worth subscribing too.
