This post is to alert you to another excellent post by Albert the Urban Monk. If you are have been reading this blog for a while and think that I’m a fan of Albert (because I link to his posts so often) I can only say that you are right.
This post is about becoming aware of our judgements – and that they are inevitably about ourselves.
The highlight of this post for me is:
According to Thubten Chodron, non-attachment is simply an acceptance of the present moment.
It does not mean the absence of negative emotions. It is opening to the present moment, whether it is
pleasant or unpleasant, without clinging to it, or rejecting it.
Albert examines this whole area deeply and accessibly. It is a great post – to take this seriously can lead us to profound change. I hope you can read and reflect deeply on this post. I recommend it highly.
Would you like to feel less stressed?
Could you do with more joy in your life?
The answer is living authentically. Buy the book or sign up for the course now from my Living Authentically website.
