Albert at Urban Monk is in top form.

He has done a superb series that extracts the essence of a kind of psychology called Behaviourism and how it can be applied to personal change.

The first part Using Behaviourism and Reinforcement Theory for Self-Exploration gives the theory and some ideas about where it is useful.

The second part Melting Away Your Self-Defeating Behaviours with Behaviourism applies the theory to changing our self-defeating behaviours.

The third and final part Break Your Rewards for Suffering goes deepest.  Straight to the depths of our suffering.

It is a great series.  Based on relevant theory, clearly written, with lots of practical examples and applications.  It is a superb series.

  3. Wow Evan, strangely these links didn’t show up in my WP admin, so I only saw it when I was doing my weekend reading (I only check my RSS on weekends, otherwise I’ll never get any work done! Heh!) Thank you so much for these!
