Cathy Crovis is doing a great series of posts on her blog Ripples of Improvement.
I’ve written about Cathy, and how much I like her writing, before: you’ll find her blog on my blogroll (on the left of the screen).
The series she is doing is on self-improvement and what you aren’t told about it. The first post was called Self Improvement Sucks (about the pain involved and that is often not talked about) the next was called Just Because You’re Working on Self-Improvement Doesn’t Mean You’re Always Getting Better and the latest is We Aren’t in Control of How Our Self Improvement Ultimately Unfolds.
The posts are fairly lengthy for a blog but well worth reading (and thinking about). They are quite personal and well written. If you are interested in self-improvement – or were interested and became disillusioned – then they are very worth reading.
