Thanks to the generosity of Amanda Beals, Kevin Walsh and the folks at americapeals.com I have three copies of “The Marrow in Me” to give away.

This is the story of how finding a golfball changed someones life. It was a golfball with a message. Chris Pablo, suffering at the time from Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, found the golfball with ‘beat leukaemia’ message written on it.

This book is the story of, Kevin Walsh, the journalist who learned of Chris Pablo’s story. It is also the story of Kevin, by giving a bone marrow donation, saved the life of Alana Dung, a young child who was dying from leukemia. It is also a plea to place your name on the donor register, as Kevin Walsh did, so that you will be available to donate bone marrow and so perhaps stop someone dying from leukemia.

It is an important and worthwhile cause.

What do you need to do to get a copy? Just tell me why you would like one in the comments to this post. If there are more than three people who want one I will choose what I think are the three best reasons.

This seemed to me a great way to start the new year – learning about giving life to someone. Looking forward to hearing from you.
