Just a quick update on what has been happening for me.

For the last almost four months (sixteen weeks tomorrow, but who’s counting?) I’ve been sleeping on a friend’s floor while looking for a place to rent.  This friend is a single mother with two children (a five year old and an eight year old).  It has been testing – to put it mildly.

So if my blog has seemed a bit more erratic than usual over the last few months, this is the reason.  I hope there hasn’t been a lessening of quality in the posts, but if there has been this situation is part of the reason.

I have signed a lease on a property today and start moving tomorrow.  I am also developing a new website,  www.livingauthentically.org.  It will be a place for those doing my membership course and, over time will also include more products as I write them (mostly ebooks is the plan).

That’s the quick update from me.  Hope life is good with you, wherever you may be.  Evan

    Hi Evan,

Thanks for the update. I thought you’d recently got married, yet it sounds like the woman you’re staying with is not your wife… too complicated for my little brain. Anyway hope things get less chaotic and you find some peace soon!

  3. How tantalizing! I, for one, would love to hear more details. I learn more from people sharing their personal experiences than I do from abstract articles. 😉

    Hi Daphne,

It’s me and my wife staying with the single mother. It’s just I’ve got into the habit of not talking about me and my partner on my blog to preserve my partner’s privacy. Hope life is good with you.

    Hi Jean,

Tantalising you is an interesting prospect of course. I think I’m the opposite to you – I don’t naturally gravitate to details. What would you like to hear more about? I’m happy to give more details. Hope you are having a good day.

“dont naturally gravitate to details” 🙂 I like you, Evan!

Thrilled that you have found a place to be, and sounds as if there are exciting developments professionally, too. Go!

    Hi Sarah,

I like you too. At the moment it’s excitement and trepidation – hopefully things will have settled a bit soon and it will be just excitement!

  8. “It’s me and my wife staying with the single mother.” That answered my question.

Good luck! Please let us know how it goes and know that we’re all wishing you well.

  9. PS Don’t forget, my background is in science. The details are needed to check out our ideas/hypotheses/explanations of the world.

  10. i had the same reaction as daphne – what about your wife?? phew, good to hear, everything seems to be in order there.

i wish you all all all all the very best in your new abode. you deserve it! yours is one of the best blogs around, you give so much to us.

    Hi Jean,

I do understand this. It’s just that it feels laboured to me to do it. I do understand the importance of it – and on important things I make sure I do it. But enjoying the process isn’t something that happens often for me. Thanks for your comment.

  13. Let me know when I can fly to Australia for the two-day Living Authentically Intensive. I’ll let you know about the Productive Mind And Heart two-day intensive when it comes out too! Best, Chris

  14. Evan says:

Thanks Chris. I’m sure we’d both enjoy ourselves!
