agree with jean – the american president is everybody’s business… and it would be a shame to seperate politics out from real life – i am hoping that this new kind of leader can help to make that distinction irrelevant….

i see a lot of connection between health and politics. for example, there’s a strong connection between poverty and ill health. that’s something that a politician can do something about! also, the hope and enthusiasm that obama instills can only be healty …

It does look to me like Obama is heading in a better direction. I hope he can get co-operation from others (in the US and elsewhere) to get to work on huge problems.

I think who wins the American presidency is everyone’s business. I’m not sure if Obama is up to the daunting problems we all face, but I do believe he’s our best chance. I did vote for him.

I am sure what can be done in one term. But I feel hope as well that maybe Obama can at least steer us in the right direction.
