One of the underlying themes of my last two decades is: Can I make my living doing what I love? This blog is part of my attempt to do this.
I would like to hear from others who have done it. I would like to hear your story and ask you some questions about it – via email or Skype. I would like them to be quite unstructured conversations – so that we can get beyond just finding out whether my (or your guesses) are right or wrong. I want to know what the journey to making your income by doing what you love is really like. I want to find out if there are common themes and experiences for those who are making their living from doing what they love.
If you are someone who makes their income from blogging, and this is doing what you love, I would like to talk to you. I think we could all learn a lot.
My inspiration for this is from three books: Edward de Bono’s Tactics, Edward de Bono and John Lyon’s Marketing Without Money, and; Porras, Emery and Thompson’s Success Built to Last.
Please get in touch if you would like to tell me your story and have me ask some questions about it. If you know anyone who is a blogger and is making their living doing what they love, if you would let them know too, I would be very grateful. Many thanks and looking forward to hearing from you, Evan.
