This page tells you about my email course on health and the newsletter that follows on from it.

First the email course. It has twelve emails delivered over six weeks (my plan is for them to be emailed Monday and Thursdays, eastern Australian time) .

The topics are:

Email One: Introduction to the course. What I mean by health. Changing in small and easy steps. Email Two: The New Understanding of Health (the emphasis on controlling your own life).
Email Three: Food
Email Four: Exercise
Email Five: Sleep
Email Six: Feelings and Not Being Trapped in the Past
Email Seven: Feelings provide useful information
Email Eight: Thinking: perception
Email Nine: Thinking: analysis and planning
Email Ten: Spirituality
Email Eleven: Relationships: Recognition and Touch
Email Twelve: Relationships: Listening

Each email explores an area and has a list of action items at the end. Each email also includes further reading you may like to pursue and links to my blog articles on the subject where appropriate.

These are big topics, each of which has hundreds of books on it. The emails don’t attempt to cover the topic in depth but are intended to be a way of getting you started on a healthier approach to this area of your life. A way to find out what works for you in each of these areas.

How long will the action items take? In some ways as long as you like. And there may be some areas of your health you are happy with and don’t need to put in any time on. My plan was for the action items to take about an hour. However, as the purpose of the lessons is to introduce you to an area rather than deal with it in detail, you can then go on to spend as much time on a topic as you wish and have available.

By the end of the course you should have a good idea of where your health is at and be on the road to improving it in the areas you want improved.

After the course the newsletter will be delivered once a week. It will focus on personality and relationships. So it is a narrower focus than the blog - where I cover all the aspects of health as I understand it (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social).

Will I be marketing stuff through the newsletter? Yes, but rarely. If I find stuff that I think you may be interested in I will do an email about it. At the moment the thing I am sure I will be interested in telling you about is the membership site (an eight week course) I plan to launch later this year. However I plan for these ’selling emails’ to be additional to the newsletter - so if you ignore them you will still be getting the same amount of content (though I hope you won’t ignore them of course).

At the moment, I will be sending the course and newsletters myself. Please be aware that I may not respond to you immediately. My aim will be to respond within 24hrs and usually much more quickly than this. (Please also bear in mind that Australia, where I live, is in a different time zone to the one that most bloggers and blog readers are in. If you send me an email when you are awake it is quite possibly when I am asleep.)
